A Rohingya woman was murdered allegedly by her husband over family issues at Balapur.
According to the police, Rozina Begum, 19, was married to Zahed Hussain, (22), seven months ago. However, differences cropped up came up between her and Zahed over some small issues in the last few weeks, following which the woman was
“On Thursday night, the woman was asleep at the house, when Zahed came and tried to kill her by strangulation. On noticing this, Rozina’s mother screamed and the man fled away. Rozina, was shifted to a private hospital where she passed away while undergoing treatment on Sunday,” said Balapur Inspector, M Sudhakar.
A case is registered.
