Villagers took a novel way to express their dissatisfaction against the Congress party over the delay in implementation of the Six Guarantees assured at the time of polls, by mailing postcards to AICC leader Rahul Gandhi and Chief Minister

In the postcards, the villagers wrote that the Congress did not keep its poll promises — to provide monthly pension of Rs 2,500 to women, a tola gold to beneficiaries of the Kalyana Lakshmi scheme, scooters to woman graduates, input investment of Rs 15,000 per acre to farmers, to waive crop loans up to Rs 2 lakh and to enhance social security pension amount from Rs 2,000 to Rs 4,000, so far.
