Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, 13-year-old Soyam Vineet, an eighth-grade student at Perur Ashram School in Mulugu district, succumbed to a viral fever on Saturday night.

According to the parents, Vineet had been suffering from fever for four days, but the school staff allegedly failed to provide timely medical attention, leading to his death.

Following the incident, the student’s family and relatives staged a protest, accusing the school administration of negligence and failing to inform them in time. Vineet’s mother and relatives gathered outside the school hostel in Mulugu, demanding justice.

The protesters have called for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding Vineet’s death and urged authorities in Mulugu district to take immediate action against those responsible for the alleged neglect.
