Hyderabad: TGSRTC Announces Special Bus Services for Maha Shivratri in Telangana
On Tuesday, February 18, the Telangana Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) announced the operation of special buses for Maha Shivratri celebrations across the state. Telangana Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar instructed officials to ensure safe and smooth travel for devotees heading to major temples in Vemulawada, Srisailam, Edupayala, and Keesara Palakurthi.
Minister Prabhakar highlighted that TGSRTC plans to run additional buses this year, expecting a higher turnout of devotees compared to last year’s Maha Shivratri. In a review meeting, he also emphasized appointing special RTC officers to manage bus stands and ensure that passengers do not face difficulties due to congestion.
The meeting was attended by TGSRTC Managing Director VC Sajjanar, Financial Advisor Vijaya Pushpa, and other senior officials.
