Hyderabad: A tragic incident unfolded in Yousufguda, Hyderabad, where 43-year-old lorry driver K. Suryanarayana ended his life after a heated argument over financial issues with Pasila Durga Prasad. The confrontation occurred on Sunday, prompting Suryanarayana to purchase petrol from a nearby pump.
In a heart-wrenching turn of events, he doused himself in petrol and set himself on fire outside Durga Prasad’s residence, according to the Madhura Nagar police. His cousin, Sirla Bharath Kumar, rushed to the scene and immediately transported him to Osmania General Hospital (OGH), but Suryanarayana succumbed to his injuries.
Originally from Anandapuram village in Visakhapatnam, Suryanarayana had been staying in a men's hostel in Nanakramguda.
After undergoing a postmortem at OGH, his body was returned to his family on Monday and later taken back to his hometown for the final rites.
