Hyderabad Commissioner CV Anand Visits Newly Established Tolichowki Police Station
Hyderabad: Hyderabad Commissioner of Police CV Anand visited the newly formed Tolichowki Police Station in the South West Zone, established as part of the recent reorganization of the Hyderabad City Police under GO No. 57. During his visit, Commissioner Anand marked the station’s operational commencement by issuing its first FIR.
The new police station incorporates select areas previously under the jurisdictions of Filmnagar, Mehdipatnam, and Golconda police stations. Its formation responds to long-standing public demand and the need for improved policing services in the region.
Equipped with patrol and Blue Colt vehicles, staff, and essential logistics, the station is fully functional. Plans are in place to construct a permanent building within the next 2-3 years. The station, divided into four sectors, aims to enhance public access and service delivery.
A formal inauguration ceremony is expected soon, further cementing the Tolichowki Police Station as a vital addition to the city’s law enforcement infrastructure.
