HYDRAA Launches Demolition Drive Against Illegal Structures in Peerzadiguda, Boduppal

Hyderabad: In a major crackdown on unauthorized constructions, the Hyderabad Road Development Authority and Administration (HYDRAA) launched an intensive demolition drive early Thursday in the Peerzadiguda and Boduppal Municipal Corporations.

The operation targeted illegal structures built in survey numbers 1, 10, and 11 of Parvatapur, Peerzadiguda. Acting on a spate of public complaints regarding encroachments on roads and government lands, authorities moved swiftly under tight police security.

HYDRAA Commissioner Ranganath personally visited the sites ahead of the operation to assess the situation before giving the green light for demolitions. Officials stated that this drive is part of HYDRAA’s broader efforts to enforce municipal norms and restore public spaces.

The department affirmed that such actions will continue across the city wherever encroachments are found, reinforcing its commitment to safeguarding public infrastructure and maintaining urban order.
