Samsung Sparks Youth Innovation in Hyderabad & Bengaluru

Hyderabad: Samsung’s ‘Solve for Tomorrow 2025’ has reached South India, energizing students in Hyderabad and Bengaluru to use technology and design thinking to solve real-world problems. This nationwide contest encourages students to develop innovative solutions addressing society’s biggest challenges.

At the University of Hyderabad, hundreds of students participated in a design-thinking workshop focused on empathy and problem-solving. R. Deepika, a Business Analytics student, said, “There are countless problems in the world, but only a few who take action to solve them. That inspired me to create meaningful impact.” Mukta, studying Healthcare and Hospital Management, added, “I learned to think like an entrepreneur. A simple idea can transform the world, and now I’m determined to bring mine to life.”

Similar enthusiasm was seen at KG Reddy Engineering College, where D. Ganesh Reddy, a Computer Science student, realized how student ideas can lead to change when approached with curiosity and structure. Over 500 students from institutions like Jain University and Dr. Chandrama Dayanand Sagar Institute also joined the movement, with Joel J, a BTech student, sharing, “For the first time, I realized I could solve problems in my own community.”

Samsung is awarding INR 1 crore to the top four teams for project incubation, prototyping, mentorship, and investor connections, supported by Samsung leaders and IIT Delhi faculty.

As ‘Solve for Tomorrow’ expands beyond Hyderabad and Bengaluru to regions like the North-East, it continues to nurture student-led innovation, inspiring the next generation of problem-solvers across India. Applications are now open—let the ideas flow!
