Over 500 Donate Blood in 2nd Mega Camp for Thalassemia Patients in Hyderabad
Advocate Qurram Ali Lauds Community Effort at 2nd Mega Blood Donation Camp for Thalassemia Patients
Hyderabad, June 29, 2025 — In a remarkable show of unity and compassion, over 500 individuals, including more than 50 women, came forward to donate blood at the 2nd Mega Blood Donation Camp organized for Thalassemia patients in the city on Sunday.
Held at TMG Celebrations, opposite Zam Zam Sweet House, Pahadi Shareef Road, Shaheen Nagar, the camp ran from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and was organized by Majlis-e-Ulama Huffaz-o-Danishwaraan-e-Millat, Jalpally Baldiya. The event drew enthusiastic participation from people of all ages and walks of life.
Speaking at a press briefing, Advocate Mir Qurram Ali, one of the key organizers, expressed his deep gratitude to all who made the camp a grand success. “A blood donor is a real hero who saves lives,” he said. “This act of generosity and humanity will bring hope to hundreds of Thalassemia patients.”

The organizers noted that with the success of this second camp, plans are already underway for future donation drives aimed at supporting patients with Thalassemia and other chronic conditions.
The event concluded with a call to action for continued support and awareness for voluntary blood donation, especially in underserved communities.
