Mahila Commission member visits Kolam Guda village

Mahila Commission member K Eshwari Bai visited a remote village of Kolam Guda in Kasipeta Mandal of Mancherial district on Tuesday. She interacted with endangered Kolam tribes and found that they lack basic facilities such as Anganwadi, school buildings, and roads. She said the growth of children was stunted due to a lack of nutritious food while pregnant women were struggling to visit hospitals as they do not have access to the main road. She assured the villagers that she would try to resolve their problems.
