Two killed, nearly a dozen injured as bus hits truck in Hazaribagh

Hazaribagh, Dec 16 (UNI) Two people including the driver were killed as a bus hit a truck in the wee hours of the day on Thursday near Demotand under the Muffasil Police Station area of this district.



The bus was on its way to Ara from Jamshedpur via Ranchi. While one of the people died on the spot while the bus driver died at a hospital. Among the injured, three are women.

The deceased driver has been identified as Manoj Razak a resident of Kajahi of Bikramganj of Bihar while another one was Dhanji Yadav who hailed from Parshurampur of Ara district.

Among the injured, some with serious injuries have been sent to RIMS Ranchi while some of them were allowed to leave after first aid.

Upon receiving the information a police team reached on the spot and sent the body for postmortem to Sadar Hospital.
