Ongole March 01: At least 9 buses were burnt down at Ongole in Prakasm District of Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday.
According to the details, almost 20 private buses were parked at Ongole bypass road and suddenly, fire broke out from a bus that spread to other buses quickly.
“Initially four buses caught fire and then it spread to other buses swiftly, by the time firefighters reached at the spot almost ine buses had been burnt down completely,’’ said, One of the authorities of the Private Travel Buses.
Following the incident panic spread among the residents and the authorities rushed to the spot and managed to douse the fire. However, a complaint has been registered and investigation is on and the cause of the fire is not known yet.
