RR District March 01: Two realtors were shot dead in the city outskirts on Tuesday, when unidentified persons opened fire on them near Karnamguda village at Ibrahimpatnam on Tuesday.
According to the details, realtors Srinivas Reddy, Raghavendra Reddy were on the way to Karnamguda village in his Scorpio car, when the assailant opened fire at their vehicle. As a result, Srinivas Reddy, died on the spot while another Raghavendra Reddy succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment in the hospital.
“One of them called us and informed us that he had taken a bullet and became silent. Then immediately, we made many calls to find out the fact but they made no reply. Both were realtors and were returning after visiting a project site near Imrabhimpatnam,’’ said, one of the relatives of realtors.
After the incident, police rushed to the spot and registered a case and probe is one. The land dispute is also being suspected in the incident.
