Balanagar Police initiate tight safety measures for 'Hanuman Jayanthi

Kukatpally, Apr 14 (Ravi Kumar): Balanagar Police will make tight security arrangements for the procession to be taken out in the division to mark Hanuman Jayanthi on Saturday. Police have chalked out an elaborate security plan for the smooth movement ensuing procession that draws hordes of devotees. Guidelines were given to all the organisers in the division and Sector SI’s to be vigilant in law and order, security arrangements and to coordinate with the local organisers and other government officials. 

ACP-Balanagar, K. Purshotham on Thursday chaired ‘Peace Committee Meeting’ with all the organisers in the division along with CI Waheeduddin. This coordination meeting was held for the smooth conclusion of the procession. He also said the CCTV’s are also in place and the route map has been chalked out to eradicate unnecessary mess. Addressing the meeting CI Waheeduddin advised all the organisers to be attentive during the procession as this will be the second major religious procession to be taken out in the division in less than a week after ‘Ram Navami Shobha Yatra’ passed off peacefully on Sunday. Anticipating a large mob of devotees shall be participating in the procession which is to be held after a gap of two years due to Covid pandemic.
