 Hyderabad City Police Commissioner,  Sandeep Shandilya, recently convened a coordination meeting with the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) at the TSPICCC within the Hyderabad City Police Commissionerate. This gathering marked a significant step in enhancing collaborative efforts as these allied forces prepare to jointly manage various responsibilities related to upcoming elections.

During the meeting, Commissioner Shandilya provided the CAPF personnel with comprehensive insights into the handling of Critical Polling Stations and the essential duties of the Flying Squads. He placed a particular emphasis on the need for swift deployment of CAPF companies to strategic locations. In addition, Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) were directed to ensure suitable accommodations for CAPF personnel and to work seamlessly in coordination with them.

Commissioner Shandilya underscored the importance of exercising utmost care when manning checkpoints, with a primary focus on minimizing any inconvenience to the public.

The gathering was attended by prominent figures, including  Vikram Singh Mann IPS, Additional Commissioner of Police for Law and Order, and Sri. Santhana Krishna DC, along with five Assistant Commandants from the CAPF and 11 CAPF company staff officers. This collaborative effort between the City Police and CAPF demonstrates a unified commitment to ensuring the safety and security of electoral processes.
