Sangareddy District Collector start off uniform sewing center
For the financial year 2024-25, the government has provided an opportunity to members of self-help groups to stitch uniforms for children studying in government schools.

Sangareddy, May 24: Sangareddy District Collector Kranti Valluru inaugurated uniform sewing center and observed the process of sewing of uniforms. The uniforms are stiched for the children studying in the government schools of Sangareddy Mandal.
For the financial year 2024-25, the government has provided an opportunity to members of self-help groups to stitch uniforms for children studying in government schools.
The District Collector said that all the members of the self-help groups should make use of this opportunity and take the responsibility of sewing uniforms for the children of their village. The Collector ordered the officials to coordinate with DRDA and MEPMA officials to take steps to sew and provide uniforms to all the schools before 06-June-2024 and to avoid any mistakes.
Total schools in the district are 1250. Hostels and Corporation Schools Total: 108. Target total in rural areas of the district : 103819. Target total in urban areas of the district : 45446. Total number of sewing centers in the district: 55.
1896 members of self help societies across the district were engaged in this uniform sewing program. On this day seven types of clothes (cloth) were sent to all the MRC centers in the district.
DRDO Mrs. Y. Jyoti, District Education Officer Venkateshwarlu, P.D. Mepma Gita, Additional DRDO K. Jangareddy, CM Venkatesham Garu, Y.E. Members of Sangareddy, Dipiums, Sangareddy, Kandi Apiums, Sangareddy, Kandi Mandal Samakhyas members participated in the program.
