World Heart Day observed at CARE Hospitals

Hyderabad: Ahmed Pasha Quadri, MLA, Yakutpura, and Mirza Riyaz Ul Effendi, MLC inaugurated a health awareness session on the occasion of World Heart Day at CARE Hospitals, Nampally. Highlighting the importance of knowing the risk factors, Ahmed Pasha Quadri mentioned “At-least 80% of premature deaths from heart disease and stroke could be avoided by controlling risk factors. Mirza Riyaz Ul Effendi said “Finding the right balance to keep the heart healthy is a must. Look after your heart by eating a healthy and balanced diet, get enough exercise, reduce alcohol and tobacco intake and keep yourself stress-free and smiling. Overdoing anything can also have serious implications hence keep your routine simple and within the limits of what your body can handle.”

Elaborating on the importance of routine heart screenings, Syed Kamran Husain, HCOO-CARE Hospitals, Nampally said, “CARE Hospitals have always been going the extra mile to increase the awareness about the importance of heart care among the general public. This world heart day, we urge you to begin your journey towards a hearty life by ensuring routine heart screenings and appropriate care.”
