A merit student, Anusha secured 95 per cent marks in the three years of her MBBS course. However, she had to return home due to Covid-19 pandemic. With the financial condition turning worse, Anusha started selling vegetables along with her mother, while her father was working as a watchman. When Minister KT Rama Rao came to know about Anusha’s plight and her efforts to pursue medical education with a passion despite her family’s financial condition, he came forward to support her education. On Wednesday, Anusha had met the Minister who promised all support and handed over a cheque to fund her education abroad. Wishing her the best, he wanted her to complete her studies and return home as a doctor to serve the needy. Anusha and her family thanked the Minister for coming to their rescue and supporting medical education.
