World Cancer Day observed at CARE Hospitals, Nampally

World Cancer Day is an international day marked on 4 February to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage its preventiondetection, and treatment. The primary goal of World Cancer Day is to significantly reduce illness and death caused by cancer and is an opportunity to rally the international community to end the injustice of preventable suffering from cancer. The day is observed by the United Nations.

The  World Cancer Day 2022 campaign theme, Close the care gap, is about identifying and addressing the barriers that exist for many people around the world in access the care they need.

In order to raise awareness on the importance of World Cancer Day, CARE Hospitals, Nampally organized an awareness program in hospital premises & felicitated cancer survivors. 

Highlighting the importance of cancer Mr.Syed Kamran Husain.,HCOO -CARE Hospitals,Nampally Said The incidence  of cancer is increasing owing to unhealthy lifestyle and excessive use of tobacco. Recent analysis has shown that Hyderabad is having highest incidence of breast cancer in country. With this, there is a growing need for improving awareness about early detection and treatment for cancer. Because of research and development in medical practice, many new treatment options are now available that is improving the outcomes. CARE Hospitals,Nampally has state of the art Infrastructure and latest equipment for early and accurate diagnosis as well as treatment of cancer.

On this Occasion Team of Doctors Including Dr.Santosh Kumar C.Consultant Medical,Pediatric and Hemato-oncology.Dr.Avinash Chaitanya.,Consultant Head & Neck Surgical Oncologist,Dr.Naren Boleneni.,Consultant Surgical Oncologist,Dr.Navin Chand,Medical Superintendent,Mr.Praveen Kumar., Manager & Mohd Ashfaq., Asst-Manager from Administration  were also present.
