" 'Fighter': Hrithik Roshan Film Slides on Day 12, Still Crosses Rs 300 Cr Worldwide"

Actor Hrithik Roshan’s third collaboration with director Siddharth Anand, Fighter, regained lost altitude in its second weekend, after a dull first week. But on its second Monday, the aerial actioner barely found any takers as its box office collections nosedived yet again. As per the industry tracker Sacnilk, Fighter’s Day 12 box office collection was Rs 3.35 crore (early estimates), bringing its total nett domestic collections to Rs 178.60 crore.
With a more than 50% fall from Sunday figures, the Rs 200 crore milestone might just be out of reach for the film. Worldwide, Fighter crossed the Rs 300 crore mark on Sunday, accumulating a gross collection of Rs 306.16 crore. Fighter experienced a similar drop in figures on its first Monday, which sent shockwaves across the industry, considering its strong opening weekend.On Monday, film trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan shared on X, “Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone’s Fighter ZOOMS past ₹300 crore milestone mark. Day 7 ₹11.70 crore. Day 8 ₹10.24 crore. Day 9 ₹9.75 crore. Day 10 ₹15.19 crore. Day 11 ₹18.46 crore.  get a lacklustre response in India, in the US, Fighter earned $3.7 million in its opening weekend. It ranked number seven on Comscore’s list of the top films that weekend in North America. Fighter has made more than Rs 80 crore in overseas markets so far. Hrithik Roshan and Siddharth Anand have had a strong track record. They delivered a blockbuster hit together in the 2019 film War, but first worked together on Bang Bang (2014). War had collected Rs 318.01 crore in India, while Bang Bang ended its run in the theatres with Rs 181.03 crore. Fighter also stars Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Akshay Oberoi, and Karan Singh Grover, among others. The film hit the theatres on January 25, and hasn’t faced any competition at the box office since then. This Friday, it will compete against the Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon-starrer Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.
