Demand to constitute governing body of Telangana BC commission

Hyderabad: Telangana BC Dal state president Dundra Kumaraswamy on Saturday demanded the constitution of the BC Commission governing body in Telangana.

Although the High Court division bench directed the Telangana government to appoint the Chairman and members of the BC commission, so far no action was taken. This is has become an impediment to the development of Backward Classes in the State. 

The BCs today are concerned with the delay in the constitution of the governing body at a time when new schemes like Dalit Bandhu are being introduced.

He urged the State government to provide a platform for BCs so that they can operationalize activities for the development of BCs in all spheres of life.
