Hyderabad: Intermediate Girl Student Dies After Dance Performance in Telangana
In a tragic incident, a 16-year-old Intermediate student lost her life shortly after a dance performance at a farewell event in Telangana. The incident occurred on February 4 at Ekalavya Model Residential School in Serolu mandal, Mahbubnagar district.
The student, identified as Sajavath Roja, was in her first year of Intermediate studies. According to school staff, she collapsed while stepping down from the stage after performing at the farewell function for second-year students. Roja’s elder sister, who is in her second year at the same institution, witnessed the heartbreaking incident.
Efforts to Save Her Life
School personnel and 108 ambulance staff immediately administered CPR, but their efforts were unsuccessful. Roja was then rushed to Mahbubabad General Hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead at 9:10 PM on Tuesday.
Cause of Death Unknown
The exact cause of her sudden demise remains unclear. Her grieving parents, residents of Thanamcherla in Maripeda mandal, reported that Roja had no prior health issues.

This incident is part of a growing number of cases where individuals have suffered fatal health complications, such as heart attacks, after intense dancing at events like weddings and processions.
