Bandi Sanjay Accuses Telangana Govt of Misusing LRS Fees
Hyderabad: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, has alleged that the Congress-led Telangana government is attempting to misappropriate ₹50 crore under the guise of the Layout Regularization Scheme (LRS). He insisted that no one should pay for LRS, reminding the public that Congress leaders had promised free land regularization during their election campaign.
Sanjay questioned why Congress leaders were now demanding money despite their previous assurances. He warned that if the government fails to keep its promise, public outrage could escalate. His remarks came during an election campaign event in Peddapalli.
In addition to criticizing the LRS fees, Sanjay took aim at the Telangana government's policies, highlighting delays in implementing employee benefits and unfulfilled job creation promises.
He also raised concerns over discrepancies in population figures, questioning how census data indicated a decline despite no significant migration from the state. Furthermore, he accused the Congress government of failing to deliver on its promise of unemployment assistance, stating that after 14 months in power, they now owe substantial amounts to jobless youth.
