In a swift and comprehensive response to a bomb threat, extensive police checks were conducted at Praja Bhavan, the residence of Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu. The incident was triggered when an unknown individual dialed 100, the emergency number, claiming there was a bomb at the location. This prompted an immediate alert within the state police department.

The Intelligence Security Wing (ISW) and the Hyderabad City Security Wing (CSW) rapidly mobilized personnel to the scene. Bomb disposal units and dog squads were dispatched to Praja Bhavan, initiating thorough inspections that spanned over two hours. Panjagutta ACP Manohar Kumar, along with his team, quickly arrived at the scene to oversee the operation.

The inspections were meticulous, covering every area of the residence, including the entrance, all interior rooms such as bedrooms, the kitchen, dining hall, visitor halls, the Deputy Chief Minister's chamber, the gym, garden, and surrounding areas. The dog squad also inspected the vehicles associated with Bhatti Vikramarka’s convoy and family. Additionally, the Ammavari Temple within Praja Bhavan was thoroughly examined.

The police have now embarked on a search for the individual who made the bomb threat call. Investigations are focusing on tracing the caller through cellphone signals to determine whether the call was a prank or a deliberate threat. The incident caused considerable alarm, which was further amplified by media coverage, leading to widespread concern across the state.

Authorities are continuing their efforts to ensure the safety and security of the Deputy Chief Minister and his family, while also working to prevent similar incidents in the future.
