Karimnagar Court rejects bail plea of Telangana BJP chief, sent to 14 days judicial remand

Karimnagar, Jan 3 (UNI) The Karimnagar District Court on Monday rejected the bail petition of BJP State president Bandi Sanjay Kumar, MP and four others, and sent them to judicial remand for 14 days.
Mr Sanja and four others were arrested on Sunday night for launching a Jana Jagarana Deeksha protesting against GO No 317 and are accused of doing so by violating COVID norms.
Mr Sanjay and four others were sent to Manakondur Police Station and shifted to Police Training Centre here on Sunday night and produced before the Court on Monday morning.
After the Court verdict, they were sent to Karimnagar Jail.
