Prof Sarraju nominated

Hyderabad: Prof. R S Sarraju of the department of Hindi, school of humanities, University of Hyderabad has been nominated in the Hindi advisory committee of the ministry of commerce and industry by the department of official language, Ministry of Home Affairs. Minister of State Ajay Kumar Mishra has approved Prof. Sarraju’s nomination as an ex-officio member of this committee.

The Hindi advisory committees are appointed in various ministries to advise on the proper implementation of the Official Language Policy of the Centre.

Prof. Sarraju works in the area of functional Hindi and translation studies, comparative Indian literature, and sociology of literature.
