All the educational institutions would likely reopen for physical classes from September 1. The decision was reportedly taken after Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao conducted a review meeting with the education department officials on the reopening of schools and colleges. 

Education Minister Sabitha Indira Reddy and officials from the education department attended the meeting.

The Telangana government intends to resume physical classes for high school students i.e. from the eighth standard onwards. This will include intermediate and higher education institutions as well. 

It reported that the guidelines were prepared for the schools and colleges. Now, classes are held online for the students of schools and colleges.

The state education department had submitted a report to the Chief Minister recommending that the educational institutions could be reopened as the COVID-19 cases are under control.
