Hyderabad: On Monday, February 3, Rajanna Sircilla district police barred an Aghori (Naga Sadhu), known for her inflammatory and communally motivated statements, from entering Sircilla town. The Aghori had previously threatened to demolish a mosque situated within the Raja Rajeshwara Swamy temple in Vemulawada. Authorities intercepted her at the town entrance and had her vehicle towed away using a recovery truck.

Her car, decorated with images of Lord Shiva and Goddess Kali, featured slogans like “Ladies, Danger” and showcased skulls on the dashboard, all of which were clearly visible to onlookers. Curious locals gathered to catch a glimpse of her as she argued with the police, demanding permission to enter the town.

The Aghori first came into the spotlight after a viral interview on a local TV channel, during which she discussed the alleged desecration of a deity’s idol at the Muthyalamma temple in Secunderabad—a temple she was previously denied access to after declaring her intent to sacrifice her life in protest of the incident.

Having traveled widely across Telugu-speaking regions and beyond, she claims to be a staunch advocate of Sanatana Dharma.
